Braunstone Working
A one-stop-shop for jobs, training and business based on Gallards Hill, Braunstone Working provides the following services to residents:
- Job search facilities
- Training
- Grants and other support for residents when they find work
- Advice and careers guidance
- Benefit advice
- Business advice, support and grants of up to £5,000

Advice services
Locally based financial and other advice services for Braunstone residents.
Braunstone Enterprise Campus
A new ‘Enterprise Campus’ that will provide managed workspace and on-site support for start-up businesses in Braunstone.
Social Economy
Support for the growth of community-based social enterprises that employ and train local residents through Intermediate Labour Markets (ILM’s)
Our goal is to:
Improve the skills and employability of Braunstone residents, enabling them to access work and connecting them to new opportunities.
By 2008, our targets are to ensure that:
- 20% of working age residents have some form of training qualification
- Unemployment is within 2% of the city average, and there is a 50% increase in Small, Medium Enterprises (SME’s)operating in Braunstone
